BASIS CANNES LIONS
THE GRAND BASIS OASIS
2025

THE BRIEF

The creative brief was taking over an apartment on the Croisette in Cannes, transforming it into a space that blends design, authenticity, and brand integrity to create a purpose-driven environment. The space needed to carry a full week of programming: a lobby bar, a chill and restore area, a hosting area, meeting pods, a podcast room and the terrace. Each zone needed to work on its own and still read as one cohesive space.

CREATIVE RESPONSE

The space was crafted to immerse guests, offering a serene haven where they can engage and spark meaningful conversations. Delivered with Cheerful Twentyfirst, this project brings to life a design-forward environment inspired by the whimsical world of Wes Anderson. It consists of a curated pastel colour palette and on-theme props, and every element is thoughtfully crafted to create a visually captivating space. Beyond aesthetics, the focus extends to exceptional service, ambient storytelling, and attention to detail. This project was delivered with Cheerful Twentyfirst and was shortlisted for The Drum Awards 2025, the nomination can be found below.
